CHRYSTAL LESTER

Chrystal is the Director of Bella Beauties and the proud mother of two. Having taught for over 15 years, Chrystal specializes in Hip-Hop and Jazz where she has received many awards for her choreography.

PORTIA HUNTER

Portia is the Creative Director at Bella Beauties Dance Studio. She has a Bachelor's of the Arts from The University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Portia has worked with children for 15+ years; which led her to being an early childhood educator for over 4 years. During this time, she was able to teach the importance of movement and liberal arts in early childhood education through dance. Portia absolutely loves working with younger children. "Working under Chrystal truly opened my eyes to my passion for dance. In turn, I have become the "Hip-Hop for Tots" and "Tap for Tots" instructor. At Bella Beauties Dance Studio dance is secondary; so I can assure you that your child will not only learn to dance but also learn the morals and values that it takes to become an amazing person in the real world as well.", says Portia.

SHANTEARIA JONES

Shantearia 'Teary' Jones has been working with Bella Beauties Dance Studio for the past five (5) years. She is an instructor for kinder and tots courses

SHALOME UNIQUE

Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Shalome Unique started dancing in ministry at New Testament Church of Milwaukee. She instantly fell in love and her journey in the arts began. With her strong desire to learn more about dance and Performance, Shalome took interest in many forms including African, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Jazz. With a passion for making art accessible to everyone, Shalome teaches throughout the community. She has partnered with many non profit organizations such as, Signature Dance Company, Above the Clouds and the Boy’s & Girls club, to name a few. ​Shalome is in the making of creating her own brand. Currently still training, her goal is to grow creatively, build and perfect her technique and performance. Her mission is to inspire others to establish resilience and freedom by being actively engaged and supportive by creating a judgement free place for individuals in crisis to problem solve, troubleshoot and discover themselves through dance.
